Natural Persimmon Dyeing on Velvet: A Unique Experiment
This time, we experimented with natural persimmon dyeing (kakishibu) on velvet fabric. The dyeing process was done using a machine for resist dyeing, and we used 100% natural persimmon tannin. The velvet material was made entirely of cotton.
The results were more beautiful than we expected.
We started the process using beakers, and as anticipated, the colors varied greatly.

At our company, we also offer hybrid dyeing, combining natural and synthetic dyes. While natural dyeing is a wonderful process, it does result in significant color variations during production, particularly when using small-scale methods like beaker dyeing. We kindly ask for your understanding of these characteristics when placing orders.
